Bach Flower Essences

Mint-e

Inspired by the ideas behind homoeopathy, the British physician and microbiologist, Dr Edward Bach, (1886-1936) created Bach Flower Remedies, on the belief that essences could help to harmonise the emotional imbalances that he came to see as the real causes of physical illness. Flower essences are highly diluted, liquid vibrational remedies, imprinted with the life force and qualities of flowers.

The 'memory of water' theory, first put forward by French scientist Jacques Benveniste, in 1988, has once again been raised as an explanation for the action of potentised vibrational remedies. In 2004, the peer reviewed journal Inflammation Research, published a study which showed that a chemical dissolved in a solution (in such proportions that not even a single molecule of the original chemical could exist in the water) exhibited verifiable, scientifically proven biological effects (37). 95% of the molecules in our bodies are water (38). It has long been recognized that cell-associated water has different properties than ordinary water (39). Research has shown that water has regions of both random and coherent molecules. The coherent regions form clusters -- an analogy would be small ice crystals in water. When water becomes highly clustered it is called "structured water," and it is recognized to have an informational content. The clusters in the coherent regions replicate information via resonance, spreading the information throughout the body (38).

Flower Essences are a form of informational or vibrational medicine, and their effectiveness have been studied using a scientifically based placebo control group design (40. 41). According to Richard Gerber M.D, Vibrational medicine views the body as a dynamic energy system and this perspective originates in the Einsteinian approach to viewing matter at the subatomic level, as complex, structured energy fields (42). In 1905, Albert Einstein concluded that energy and matter are interchangeable. The equation that expresses the relationship between energy and matter is expressed in Einstein's famous, E=mc2.

"It followed from the special theory of relativity that mass and energy are both but different manifestations of the same thing - a somewhat unfamiliar conception for the average mind. Furthermore, the equation E=mc2, in which energy is put equal to mass, multiplied with the square of the velocity of light, showed that very small amounts of mass may be converted into a very large amount of energy, and vice versa. The mass and energy were in fact equivalent according to the formula mentioned above."
Albert Einstein

Vibrational medicine uses, not only electromagnetic frequencies of energy to heal, but also varying forms of what is sometimes referred to as subtle energy, (chi, or prana) as is the case with flower essences and homeopathy (42).
Mint-e's certified organic flower essences are made with spring mineral water from Saint Roch Spring on the "Chemins de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle", an ancient pilgrimage route dating from the 10th Century in the wooded ravines of Margeride, France; whereby obtaining the optimum characteristics of Dr Edward Bach's Rock Water.
